It is almost difficult to believe the 100th Anniversary celebration weekend was the smashing success that it was. Not only were the number of alumni and guests terrific, each and every event went off without a hitch. The students and staff of PACI gained an incredible appreciation of the pride and commitment shown by those that walked the Collegiate halls in the past.

I attended the Collegiate for my grade 9 year in 1978-1979 and have been the principal since the fall of 2004. It has been with nothing but pride that I have nurtured the Collegiate through its transition from being a junior high school back to taking its rightful place as a diploma granting, university sending, youth maturing choice for students in Prince Albert.

PACI is built upon traditions. Our current students are well versed in "Keep'er Low". The song... well unfortunately that is another story. Since we have become the Collegiate again a new tradition has been introduced.

PACI stands for Prince Albert Collegiate Institute. But it stands for much more than that as well. PACI is Pride Achievement Courage and Integrity. These are our values - what we strive to succeed in instilling in each and every student as we prepare them for life after their high school years.

It is an honour to be a part of the grand traditions of PACI.
